BBA to host inaugural Regional Economic Development Summit

Today the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) announces its inaugural Regional Economic Development Summit, happening on Thursday, November 16th from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Set to take place at the iconic and revitalized Greyhound Bus Station in downtown Birmingham, this groundbreaking event marks a pivotal moment in BBA’s mission to foster greater collaboration and advance regional economic growth.

BBA’s Regional Economic Development Summit invites economic developers, business leaders, government officials, chamber executives and community partners for a day of insightful discussions and actionable strategies aimed at shaping the future of economic development in the Greater Birmingham Region. 

The summit features engaging sessions covering a wide range of topics, providing attendees with valuable insights into various aspects of economic development. Session content includes information on site selection, land planning, retail and industrial development, marketing strategies and more. Attendees can network and connect with industry peers while also learning about the essential elements of competitive job creation. ​​

A key highlight of this year’s event includes a luncheon featuring a keynote address by Alabama Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield.
